Birthday depression

I'm not really looking forward to my birthday next week. Something about birthdays on a Monday is just flat out depressing, plus I have zero idea on what I want to do to celebrate it. I mean, I'm turning 30....that's a "milestone" but it feels more like a millstone. I like celebrating birthdays....just...not...mine.

After 6 years of going back and forth between whether I really wanted to be a teacher or not, during which I was a substitute teacher, a teaching assistant, a quality control inspector, a math tutor, and a high school teacher, I have FINALLY completed all the requirements necessary for my OFFICIAL teaching certification.
All that's left at this moment is to wait for the program to contact me with the procedure for getting the actual certificate. I have two job applications out so far (to my high school alma mater no less), and having the certification number at least will open up better chances at getting a teaching position. Plus the whole
